Onsite Position: Columbus, Ohio ● Cincinnati, Ohio ● Dayton, Ohio
Our client is a leading Mechanical Contractor specializing in delivering innovative solutions in Plumbing and HVAC systems for commercial construction projects. With a commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technology, we are seeking a skilled BIM/VDC Coordinator to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects.
We are looking for an experienced BIM/VDC Coordinator with a strong background in Plumbing and HVAC systems within the commercial construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes to ensure seamless integration and collaboration across various project teams. Centralized VDC/BIM Department in Cincinnati, Ohio. Experienced hires have the option to work from Columbus or Dayton, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the development and implementation of BIM/VDC processes for Plumbing and HVAC systems.
· Collaborate with project teams to create detailed 3D models, clash detection, and constructability analysis.
· Generate accurate and detailed 3D models for Plumbing and HVAC systems using industry-standard software.
· Develop and maintain model libraries, families, and templates to enhance efficiency and consistency.
· Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve clashes in Plumbing and HVAC systems.
· Work closely with project stakeholders to implement effective solutions and ensure project timelines are met.
· Facilitate communication and coordination between different project disciplines to achieve interdisciplinary coordination.
· Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review models, discuss potential clashes, and provide timely resolutions.
· Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BIM/VDC deliverables.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to continuously improve processes.
